iPhone-5 Battery replacement ?

I left my iPhone-5 charging one day and the next day it had burst open. I am assuming the battery swelled up.

It still powers on and works.

There are a couple of repair shop near me that repair iPhones. They quoted me $40 to replace the battery.

However I do not know what brand replacement battery they are using.

Can Apple recommend a replacement battery for my iPhone-5 that I can purchase and have this shop install it or can Apple install it for me?

What brand batteries does Apple recommend?
